What is Coasteering?
What better way to get your dose of vitamin sea than a bit of climbing, scrambling, swimming, jumping, sea level traversing in an eco-adventure playground?
It can about rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, swell-riding, cave-exploring and, yes, cliff-jumping. But it’s as much about discovering our wildlife and coastline at close-quarters; an intimacy that walkers never experience.
Who can do it?
Are you aged 12 or over? Can you doggy paddle? Then you can take the plunge. Being confident in the water certainly helps but you’ll have a wetsuit and a buoyancy aid for warmth and flotation, a safety helmet to protect you noggin’ and guides to encourage you and keep you safe. It can be scaled to suit individual/group needs. Meaning, if you want to have a leisurely splash, scramble & swim AND/OR an adrenaline fuelled, high energy & big jumps session, we got you covered.
Do I have to jump off a cliff? I’m scared of heights!
No. All our activities are challenge by choice. So, don’t worry, guides will put no pressure on you to jump but, your friends and family might. Who knows, don’t look down and you might surprise yourself!
